North View's Objectives


North View's Strategic Objectives are:-

  • to provide quality homes in a good environment at affordable rents;
  • to consolidate and improve tenant services, being responsive to tenant's priorities;
  • to bring community support services to Windlaw,in partnership with others;
  • to invest in tenants' homes and manage our assets well;
  • to improve housing opportunities in Windlaw and;
  • to be well-governed, financially resilient and a good employer

Our Objectives are reviewed annually in April.

North View's Objectives for 2023/24 are:-

  • that we develop a new Asset Management Strategy by 31st July 2023;
  • that we develop a new Disaster Recovery Plan by 30th September 2023;
  • that we complete the Governance Review by 31st August 2023;
  • that we carry out a stock reinstatement valuation and procure insurance services by 31st March 2024;
  • that we carry out a feasability study to consider the option of providing close lighting maintenance and power 'in house' by 31st March 2024;
  • that we fit new windows in the homes of 22 tenants by 31st March 2024;
  • that we fit new kitchens in the homes of 30 tenants by 31st March 2024;
  • that we install 50 new flat enterance doors at 18-26 Ardmaleish Road (Area J) by 31st March 2024;
  • that we develop and implement new tenancy sustainment approaches by 31st may 2023 to help reduce the number of properties abandoned and;
  • that we fully implement new rent arrears procedures by 30th June 2023 and ensure staff are trained and supported to affectively utilise these.
