Data Protection
The Data Protection 2018 Act modernises data protection laws in the UK to make them fit for purpose in an increasingly digitalised society. Part of 2018 Act embodies the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards, strengthens data protection laws and the control and protection that individuals have over their data.
As well as developing policies for GDPR, we have also established a suite of ‘Fair Processing Notices’, in which we set out why we gather information from individuals, and what we do with that information.
