Our staff are one of our most important assets.  They are responsible for delivering services to our tenants, so it is important that they know how to do their job.  To that end, all our staff members receive regular training to keep them abreast of changes that will affect their job, and to help them further develop their skill set.  

We have procedures in place to assess the performance of all staff members each year via formal appraisal, but in a small organisation like ours, performance is monitored through daily interaction between staff and their line manager.  Training requirements are discussed during the appraisal, and training schedules are agreed, but training provision is also responsive to the changes that affect our services.
