Resident participation is central to the ongoing success of the Association. We want our residents to play a meaningful role in shaping what we do, so we have created the opportunities for them to get involved.
North View encourages tenants and residents to be involved in our decision making; their views influence our actions and how we deliver services.
We regularly use our quarterly Newsletter to consult tenants on policy reviews and other matters – the most recent being the Autumn 2019 issue in which we consulted on our rent assimilation proposals. We consult on our annual rent review through our Rent Consultation Newletter – in our most recent survey, 93% of our tenants confirmed that the Newsletter gave them enough information about how their rent was decided, and the same percentage said that they were happy with that method of consultation.
We use Residents Surveys to help us assess our performance and as way of consulting tenants about the services we provide and/or could provide. We occasionally hold themed residents’ Focus Group meetings to help us gauge residents’ views on service provision.
