Paying your Rent
Your rent is due to reach us by the 27th of each month.
There are six ways for you to pay your rent:
- at the shops,
- by Standing Order,
- over the internet,
- by telephone,
- Allpay App,
- or at a Post Office
We don’t usually take rent payments at our Office; it is only under special circumstances that we do that.
You can use your Allpay rent swipe card to pay rent at any shop or retail outlet displaying a ‘PayZone’ or ‘PayPoint’ sign – just make sure you keep your payment receipt. If you have a bank account, you will be able to pay by Standing Order. If you have a debit card, then you can use it with your Allpay card to pay rent over the phone or through the web. Download the Allpay App from the Apple App Store or Google Play and pay quickly and easily with the touch of a button. To pay by phone, call Allpay on 0870 770 0472 and follow their instructions; if you want to use the internet to pay, click here.
You can pay by Allpay at the Post Office. The Post Office accepts cash, debit card payments and cheques, but again, make sure you get a receipt.
If you find yourself getting into arrears with your rent, contact your Housing Officer as soon as possible. Arrears can lead you to losing your house! If you fall into arrears, don’t hide your head in the sand – get in touch with us. The earlier we know about it, the easier it will be to sort out!
